Multyfarnham is located 1.5 miles off the N4 and just 6 miles from the attractive midland town of Mullingar. The village itself, a former 'All Ireland Tidy Town' is home to a 12th Century Friary.
This popular location and hive of fishing and hunting is perfectly placed beside Lough Derreveragh and close to several specialist fishing lakes. Based in the heart of Ireland, An Tintain offers an excellent base for touring the country. Take the main Dublin to Sligo Road (N4), bypass Mullingar, drive approx. 4 miles beyond Mullingar (on the Sligo side) to 'The Covert Pub', take a right turn at 'The Covert Pub' and Multyfarnham is approx. 1.5 miles down this road.
